BLIND DOOR
LIGHT KIT (BDLK)

LED Warning Lights for Blind Doorways & Pedestrian Safety

Many workplace accidents occur when pedestrians, forklifts, carts, or equipment approach a doorway from opposite sides without seeing each other.

The BrinkAlert Blind Door Light Kit (BDLK) helps improve awareness at blind doorways by activating high-visibility LED warning lights whenever movement is detected on either side of the opening.

The result is a safer workplace with improved visibility and reduced collision risks around warehouse doorways, production areas, service bays, and industrial facilities.

HOW THE BDLK SYSTEM WORKS

HOW THE BDLK WORKS

The Blind Door Light Kit monitors activity on both sides of a doorway using motion sensors.

When traffic is detected approaching from one side, the LED warning lights on the opposite side activate, alerting pedestrians, forklift operators, and personnel that someone may be approaching through the doorway.

The system provides a simple visual warning before users enter a blind opening.

IMPROVE SAFETY AT BLIND DOORWAYS

Blind doorways create visibility challenges in warehouses, manufacturing facilities, distribution centers, service departments, and commercial buildings.

When pedestrians and equipment operators cannot see through a doorway, collisions and near misses become more likely.

The BrinkAlert Blind Door Light Kit provides a visual warning system that helps personnel recognize approaching traffic before entering the opening.

Unlike mirrors or floor markings, the system actively alerts users when movement is detected.

BDLK FAQ

WHY BLIND DOORWAY SAFETY MATTERS

Blind doorways are common throughout warehouses, manufacturing facilities, and distribution centers. When personnel or equipment approach an opening from opposite sides, visibility is often limited until the last moment.

Installing a Blind Door Light Kit helps improve awareness by providing a visual warning before users enter the doorway. The result is a safer work environment, improved traffic flow, and greater visibility around facility blind spots.
